PILE-GARD Pile Preservation

The original and still the most cost effective pile preservation system available in the market place today.

Continuous wave pounding and abrasive action has resulted in rapidly increasing and significant metal loss at critical points of support. Elaborate paint systems are unable to withstand severe wave and splash zone attack on steel piling.

PILE-GARD is installed from the water surface, causing no interruption of facility operations on top side.

When PILE-GARD is applied to steel piles, tests show that corrosion rates are reduced to 0.0002 inches per year. At this rate, 0.048 inch tubing could last 179 years in sea water.
